Wood Badge is designed to be advanced leadership training for Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, and Venturing adult leaders at the unit, district, council, and professional levels, taught in the living experience of a Boy Scout troop employing the patrol method.
As a result of attending Wood Badge, participants will be able to:
Participant Prerequisites: Be a Registered member of the B.S.A.. All participants must have completed the basic leader training course for their position in Scouting. Outdoor skills training is not required but would be useful and be capable of functioning safely in the outdoors. A full Scout uniform will be the dress for the course.

Building relationships and accomplishing goals is a part of everything we do, be it at home, work, or as part of the many groups and organizations we participate in. Wood badge is more than just a training program. Wood Badge is all about building relationships both in Scouting and out. You will learn to understand the many things necessary for any group to function as a successful team. Sure, Wood Badge is valuable to you as a Scouter, but more importantly, Wood Badge will make you better at whatever you do, no matter what it is. And, above everything else, Wood Badge is FUN! Not only will you learn a great deal, you will have FUN while you are learning. What a great concept!

Course Size Restrictions
The course is limited in number of participants, so enroll early to guarantee a spot!
Medical: All participants are required to complete the Annual Health and Medical Record form (available at www.scouting.org). Parts A, B, and C are required with a doctor’s signature.
